Now, I'm not an interior decorate and definitely don't pretend to be, but there's something I just have to talk about with you today and it falls in that realm.
I have an fear and it is color! Every time I look at pictures of a room with bright, bold wall colors I just about faint from excitement. So, if I love color so much, why do I have such a hard time committing to a truly amazing wall color in my own home?
I've always dreamed of having a bright pink office space and even bought the wall paint for it but just can't seem to bring myself to actually put it on the walls. I realize that wall color is by no means permanent but that doesn't stop me from being a wussy.
Am I alone on this? What have you beautiful people done to remedy this for youself?!
I'll send all of you off with some beautiful, colorful spaces!

Anonymous comment: When are you going to paint your master bed room and show us your BRIGHT yellow bed that your super talented, fabulous, dreamy sister painted you? Or the snuggly, comfy velvet couch she found you???
Carry on!
hahaha. i'm here to ask the same thing "anonymous" did! ;)
come on. show us! show us! show us!
as for bold wall color.... it's not for me either. i'd say stick to simple wall color and use bright bold accessories. like a BRIGHT yellow bed. ha!
Try painting one wall of your office space and live with it for a few days.... If you love it and it's not enough paint some more! If you don't love it, one wall is easier to repaint then four or more! :)
Torri,
My office is the color of the pic from poppytalk's living room! I've used black and white as accents. One curtain is white background and black polkadots and the window curtain is made from blackground with very colorful fashion ladies.
Just jump in and do it! Remember it is just paint you can always repaint it white. If I remember your other blog is about your lovely home reno and is basically white (and it is awesome!) One room the color you want would be so cool! Show us pics asap (as soon as painted!

I defintitely can relate to this.. I absolutely LOVE colour but don't really have any colourful walls in my home. I find its just tough to get it right, I've experimented before and if the lighting is not just right anything to bright or bold can just look scary....however these are all beautiful, love the pink room with the peacock feather rug :)
